This book was written by Prof. Mao Yushi, a famous economist in China. It is a conscience work facing up to the diseases of China’s reform and focusing on livelihood of the bottom of society. Prof. Mao tried to answer important questions that the present Chinese society concerned with religious logic and strong conscience. And these questions include where the Chinese anxieties come from, in which aspects inequality between rich and poor exists, what intensifies the gap between rich and poor, what the crux of China’s economic reform dilemma is and how to seek the opportunity in the change.
