
WU Si, historian, senior editor. Born in Beijing in 1957, Mr. WU Si was appointed director of a labour unit and deputy secretary of a village party committee in the 1960s. He graduated from Renmin University with a bachelor’s degree of Chinese literature in 1982. In his career, he was deputy director of Editor-in-Chief Office for Farmer’s Daily; Deputy Director and Editor-in-Chief of Qiao(journal) in 1993. Through 1997 to 2014, Mr. WU Si was Executive Editor-in-Chief, deputy director, Editor-in-Chief, Director, and Legal Representative of the esteemed historical journal Yanhuang Chunqiu(《炎黄春秋》). In 2016, he was elected to be the President of Unirule Institute of Economics. Mr. WU Si is also author of several bestsellers, including CHEN Yonggui: MAO Zedong’s Famer(《陈永贵:毛泽东的农民》), The Inarticulate Rule(《潜规则》), Blood Payment Theorem(《血酬定律》), and A Reinterpretation of History(《我想重新解释历史》). |
