Mr. Zhao Xu was invited to attend and delivered a speech entitled "Rethinking the Significance of Water Pricing" on the International Symposium on Policies for Water Protection: Pricing, Taxation and Fees, which was held in Chizhou, Anhui Province on April 8th, 2011.

This seminar was jointly organized by Chinese Academy for Environment Planning and the School of Environment And Nature Resources, Renmin University of China, as a discussion and communication activity of the "Research on Policies for Water Protection: Pricing, Taxation and Fees," a sub project of "Major Science and Technology Program for Water Pollution Control and Treatment." Over 100 people in total attended the seminar, including both foreign and domestic experts, local government officials, and front-line workers.
