The 2012 Economic Freedom Network Asia (EFN) annual conference held from 6th to 8th November at Crowne Plaza Kowloon East Hotel in Hong Kong. Prof. Feng Xingyuan, Deputy Director of Unirule of Institute Ecnomics, Mr. Zhao Xu, Head of International Cooperation and Executive Held of the research center of Southern China, Researcher Qian Pu and Mr. Research assistant of the research center of Southern China were invited to the annual meeting.

This year’s annual meeting focus on“How Welfare Populism Destroys Prosperity: the Populist Challenge to Economic Freedom”. Prof. Feng Xingyuan made a thematic speech on "energy, environment and Sustainability: case sharing" at a luncheon discussion stage on the November 6th.
