On the morning of September 26th, Professor MAO Yushi was invited to visit Mr. Lars Peter Fredén, Swedish Ambassador to China at the Ambassador’s Residence. Mr. Ambassador expressed his anticipation to have this meeting on the social, economic, and political development of China and its history, status quo, and prospective. They changed insights in the on-going reforms in the political and economic areas. Heated discussion was held with respect to financial reforms, institutional innovation, and the challenges and obstacles. Mr. Ambassador expressed his concerns with China’s traditional culture, the moral system of contemporary China, and the development of the youth. Joining the dialogue were Mr. Jakob Kiefer and Dr. Christer Ljungwall from the Swedish Embassy, and Mr. MA Junjie from Unirule Institute of Economics.
