On the morning of August 22^nd, Professor GAO Yan, Member of the Board and Deputy Director of Unirule Institute of Economics, visited Atlas Network. On his visit, Professor GAO Yan met Dr. Alejandro Chafuen, President and CEO of Atlas Economic Research Foundation, and Dr. Tom G. Palmer, Vice President for International Programs at the Atlas Economic Research Foundation. Professor GAO Yan brought and gave a photo album commemorating the 20^th anniversary of the founding of Unirule and a Unirule Yearbook.

At the lunch meeting with Atlas experts and scholars, Professor GAO Yan gave a speech on “Unirule Phenomenon: The Role of Independent Think Tank in the Context of China's New Economic and Political Reform” and answered questions regarding Unirule Institute of Economics and its influences in China’s economic and political reforms. This visit was a good start for the two institutes to consolidate their communication and further cooperation.
