Symposium on Land Administration Law Revision held in Beijing

Symposium on Land Administration Law Revision was successfully on Feb 3rd, 2010. Nineteen scholars, one farmer representative and twenty-five audiences attended the symposium.
On the symposium, such experts from the economics field as Zhang Shuguang, Sheng Hong, Dang Guoying, Zheng Zhenyuan, Qiu Feng, Tao Ran, Zhao Nong, Zhang Yinghong, gave their suggestions on issues of market allocation principle, and changing and realizing land use planning and regulation in the true sense. Heated discussion was carried on issues of clear definition and enhancement of land use right, and formulating land property right acquisition regulations and designing relevant systems with usufructuary right as the center, among such experts from the jurisprudence field as Wang Weiguo, Zhang Qianfan, Shen Kaiju, Yang Junfeng, Duan Jun, Wang Zhenyu, Ding Xikui, etc. Guests attending the seminar also gave their opinions on how to put these constructive suggestions into Land Administration Law revision. At the same time, most scholars realized that the complicacy and difficulty of China’s land system reform is much more than Land Administration Law revision. Thus, more efforts and cooperation are needed.
