Mar.31th 2010 Beijing; The 16th Chinese-French Economic Forum was held on Mar.31th in Sofitel Wanda Beijing. Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former French prime minister, and Mr. Hua Jianmin, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee attended the forum and delivered speeches. Chinese-French Economic Forum was held once a year. The theme of the forum this year is “A New World: New Market, New Cooperation.” Seminar on Challenges for City Transportation, which was part of this forum, was jointly held by Veolia Environment, Paris Metro Group, and Veolia Transport & Paris Metro (China) Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhao Xu, Director for International Cooperation, and Research Fellow of CCPPP of Unirule Institute of Economics, was invited to this seminar to deliver a speech entitled “Government’s Responsibilities and Functions in Public Transportation”, and communicate with other delegates attending this seminar. |
