The Unirule Institute of Economics and China-Review hosted a seminar on ‘Freedom of Speech and Debate Rules’ in Beijing on June 5th, 2013. A group of scholars from various research areas attended the seminar. The topic of the seminar was focused on a social issue with regards to the expression of arguments. The historical and social background of social controversies happened recently was analyzed in the seminar. Scholars advocated the freedom of speech and discussed appropriate ways to speech following debate rules.
