On the afternoon of November 1st, a seminar on the US Presidential Election and Democracy was held at Unirule Beijing Office.

This seminar was joined by Professor XU Zhangrun, Tsinghua University; Professor SHENG Hong, Director of Unirule; Associate Professor TIAN Feilong, Beihang University; and Mr. JIANG Hao, Director of Unirule Centre for Public Governance.

This seminar discussed the unprecedented discussions and debate surrounding this year’s US presidential election. Experts at the seminar also discussed the history of political theory of western democracy, the evolution of international community and the current challenges, and the US democratic institution and its implications on other countries.
