November 11th, a seminar on “online car rentals” was held by Unirule Centre for Urban Development at Unirule Beijing Office. This seminar was joined by Mr. LAN Weiqing from Zhejiang Public Policy Institute; Professor ZHANG Ming from Renmin University; Professor XU Xin; Professor SHENG Hong, Director of Unirule; Mr. YANG Jianhui, Senior Researcher from Ali Institute; Mr. WU Si, President of Unirule; and Mr. CHEN Yufeng, Caijing Magazine. This seminar discussed the legitimacy of local regulations on online car rentals, the constitutionality of such regulations, and the targeted policy goals.
