Seminar on “How to Execute Laws Constitutionally” Held in Beijing

On the morning of December 18th, a seminar on “How to Execute Laws Constitutionally” was held at Unirule Beijing Office.

 

This seminar was hosted by Mr. YI Feng, a famous jurist; and joined by Professor LI Dun, Renmin University; Professor SHENG Hong, Director of Unirule; Mr. SONG Li, Deputy Director of Guangdong Jingling Law Firm; Mr. JIANG Hao, Director of Unirule Centre for Public Governance; and Mr. ZHOU Hongling.

 

This seminar discussed the abuse of violence in the execution of laws on the local level. The experts thought the actions taken by the police mostly involved the basic principles of the constitution and the basic civil rights stipulated by the constitution. Therefore, police actions should be constrained by the basic principles and values reflected by the constitution.
