Keynote Speaker: Ke Huaqing(China University of Political Science and Law)
Discussants: Mo Zhihong, Liu Yan, Zhang Shuguang

Prof. Ke pointed out that law economics and game theory of law make pragmaticitve economics possible and put forward the conception of pragmatictive law. He stresses the importance of regulatory of science. It is the control function integrates positive economics and normative economics, which produces pragmatictive economics.

The logic of pragmatictism emphasizes on the purpose and stresses on the combination of positive and normative, purpose and tool. That means there should not be discontinuity between "what it is" and "what should it be".  We must come from positive to normative; from tool to purpose and the criteria are practical results.

Some challenges emerged in the Keynes era. Based on these challenges, Prof. Ke points out the assumption of social continuity which contains the aim continuity, rule continuity, rationality continuity and identity continuity. He thinks that human can not and should not try to solve human being's problem by the roots.

Finally, Prof. Ke integrated the assumption and reality in China and proposed to solve the allocation of social welfare through pragmatictism. He also remanded us to emphasize on specific institutional mechanism and pursue practical results.
